I looks great, but was a little difficult to join the two pieces together. I had to file a bit on the inside of the wood to get it to fit without damaging the finished wood surface.

If you are are going to have a Kalimba, I would definitely recommend the stand. It displays the instrument beautifully and keeps it easily accessible. The velvet, padded edges is a nice touce. It prevents the Kalimba's beautiful, shiny finish from being skuffed or scratched.
